The story of Londolozi began over seventy years ago when two friends, Charles Boyd Varty and Frank Unger, stood for the first time on the banks of the Sand River, where the water ran clear and cool over the granite rocks and the bushveld stretched to the horizon, untrammelled by the feet of man since the beginning of time.
