Londolozi Private Game Reserve
The story of Londolozi began over seventy
years ago when two friends, Charles Boyd Varty and Frank Unger,
stood for the first time on the banks of the Sand River, where
the water ran clear and cool over the granite rocks and the
bushveld stretched to the horizon, untrammelled by the feet
of man since the beginning of time.
Set in the world-renowed Sabi Sands, Londolozi's
decadesof painstaking environment management ensure the best
game experience in Southern Africa. IIt boastes prolific viewing
of Africa's most impresive wildlife on morning and evening
game drives in open landrovers and on bush walks. Our rangers
and Shangaan trackers are among the best on the continent,
and expertly guide guests through the great natural theatre
of Africa, and its unforgetable drama of the wild, from the
Big Five - particularly its famous leopards - to fascinating
plants, magnificent antelope, interesting insects and, of
course, the staggering array of birds that grace the reserve.
Our knowledgeable guides and trackers also offer interpretive
nature walks through the bush.
Londolozi has a proud history of partnership
with its neighbouring rural communities who have been an integral
part of the wisdom and success of the model. Londolozi is
committed to the principal that local people should recieve
a meaningful share of the benefits that precipitate from eco-tourism.
